Spot Cleaning & Spills
Blot spills immediately with a clean, damp cloth and a small amount of mild soap or baby shampoo.
Dab gently in the direction of the hair, then allow the hide to air-dry naturally.

Description  

Naturally Copper Springbok Skin - 37 X 20" fully tanned antelope skin. Naturally Copper springbok skins are actually a tone of beige/light brown.

The size of these skins will vary. 37X20" is the average size. You will receive one from our inventory. May not have the tail. Length of mohawk varies from skin to skin.

The long hairs (mohawk) on the back are long and hide a secret. If you caress the skin against the grain you will discover this unique feature. It stands up like a mohawk if you fold the hide. See video!

The springbok or springbuck is an antelope found mainly in south and southwest Africa. It is native to the arid regions of Southern Africa, such as the Kalahari Desert. Males and females have horns but the female springbok horns are much thinner than the male ones. The skins are very popular for making pillows, handbags, wallets, table covers or can also be used as a small floor rug.
