This is an exquisite GOLDEN Wildebeest Skin Rug (tail is 20" long). Size of 5X4 feet excludes the tail. Gorgeous and great cut! The golden wildebeest is a variation of the blue wildebeest only found in South Africa! Extremely rare to find. We are one of the few companies in the USA with such skin available. Will not last in stock.  Other companies use generic photos and will ship you a similar rug. This is a photo of the exact wildebeest skin we will ship and its measurements are accurate. Cowhide and antelope hides are the skin of what was at one point a living animal. Our hides are high-quality tanned at one of the best tanneries in the world and each cut by hand. Irregularities in color and surface structure are due to leather’s natural finish and should be regarded as a quality feature while also underlining its natural characteristic. All our hides are by-products of the meat industry which means the animal was not killed in order to obtain its hide.
